How should I plan a budget for kitchen redesign?
It depends on what you want to achieve. Is it a knock-down redesign? A make-over for better layout and storage? Or a face-lift for new cabinetry doors and benchtops? We can help you figure out the best result for whatever budget you give us.
Do you give advice for the best built-in layout?
We can provide advice on your options for a built-in wardrobe or cabinetry, however the choice is up to the client as each person’s personal preferences are different.
Can you help plan and build an ensuite from scratch?
Yes, but you may also require a builder for the structural content and other tradespeople.
Looking for a price guide for a renovation?
Renovations can be affordable or costly depending on the age of your kitchen. Please email photos, sketch and a wish list of what you want to achieve (info@blackwoodkitchens.com.au). With this information we should be able to provide an estimate subject to site measure.
Do I need special contractors for kitchen make-overs?
We look after joinery work like cabinetry and hard surface installations. Where electricity or plumbing is required, you will need to work with trade suppliers separately.
Do you remove all renovation old materials?
Yes, the cost however is significant for commercial disposal compared to domestic.
How long does it take to get a quote or get the work done?
Usually allow 10 days to get a quote once we’ve done the site visit and you’ve specified materials. A timeframe of 6 to 8 weeks to build the installation is average and completed on-site within a week. Sometimes there may be other factors that can change a timeline.
